As with any physical activity, there is a risk of injury, e.g. from tripping or similar. You may also experience sore muscles in the days following the analysis. For certain movement analyses, clearance from a doctor is required (e.g. for comeback tests).
Depending on the chosen analysis, a visit to our centre usually takes between one and three hours
Yes, you can eat and drink (non-alcoholic) as usual. However, it should be borne in mind that the movement analysis involves sporting movements and heavy meals can sit in the stomach before a movement analysis.
The sensors are attached to the skin using skin-friendly adhesive tape and/or elasticated straps and can be removed again after the measurement. To ensure that both remain in place, we ask that you do not apply cream on the day of the analysis.
This depends on the type of analysis, as the different measurement systems involve different levels of complexity in the evaluation.
You can reach us by public transport with the lines 2 (stop J.-Kerschbaumer-Str.), T (stop Flurstraße) or with the bus line 8357/Rumer Linien (stop Kika) of the IVB.
Yes, changing facilities including showers are available and can be used during opening hours.
Please contact us in good time if you are unable to keep an appointment. Unfortunately, we have to charge a cancellation fee for cancellations at short notice or no-shows.
Unfortunately, Austrian health insurance does not reimburse biomechanical movement analyses. The costs for the analyses must be borne by you. If you have private health or accident insurance, you can ask your insurance company individually whether you can claim costs after an injury and return-to-sport testing.
For privately insured customers from Germany and Switzerland, it is possible that the private insurance will cover part of the analysis costs. In this case, we recommend contacting the relevant health insurance company before the analysis and discussing the possibility of reimbursement.
